This is a screenshot from a friendly match between two former VP3 Virtual World Champions Glen and B11TME.I was fortunate to join the room as Glen was shooting the last red with just the colours remaining.
For those of you who may not be as familiar with Snooker,to make a 147 maximum break is the best you can achieve in normal play, without any freeball. You have to shoot all 15 reds with the highest colour to follow each red,the highest coloured ball being the black ball.
One you clear all 15 reds and blacks you have 120 points, the last 27 points to make up the 147 maximum break are from clearing up all remaining colours,Yellow,Green,Brown,Blue,Pink and the final Black.
What you see from the screenshot is Glen about to shoot the final black in his amazing 147.
This is a feat that not many players of VP3 will acheive, although there are many good players who on their day are capable of matching it. The fact that this was done in a match and not in practice is one bonus and the fact that there were witnesses to it is proof needed to have the acheivement recognised on this site dedicated to a game we play and enjoy....lets hope we see some more breaks like this in future.
Heres two more 147s,but they were completed in practice ie not against a live opponent first one is from Apollon

and the next one is from Tonysam1
This one was completed by Tonysam during practice for his VWSC 2007 semi final Tuesday 13th Feb 2007.As you can see the cue ball is high up the table.due to the fact that on the way up the table the ball hit the middle jaw preventing it getting up to the black. However Tony still cut it in to complete his second 147.I witnessed the completion and still a great acheivement
